Carol Became Advisor to Tennessee Governor’s Veteran Education Task Force Carol Clark of Cohort IX became an advisor to Tennessee Governor’s Veterans Education Task Force. The task force is charged with evaluating how to best serve Tennessee veterans who are seeking a certificate or degree beyond high school. Congratulations to Carol! LeAnn Accepts a New Position LeAnn Howell, a recent doctoral graduate, accepted a position as the Director of Field Education at Brescia University. Congratulations to LeAnn! EIGHT STUDENTS WILL GRADUATE THIS SPRING The following eight students will graduate in May 2014: Amy Allen of Cohort VII Daryl Hagan of Cohort VII Mana Kariman of Cohort VII Angela Selected for Teacher Training at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC Angela Gunter, a doctoral graduate, is one of 25 teachers nationwide selected for a week-long teacher training at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. WKYU-PBS documentary and an article in Land, Air and Water (the quarterly publication of the Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet) about the WKU-Habitat for Humanity green infrastructure green neighborhood statewide demonstration grant project for which she is Principle Investigator.
