Eric Attended a Forum in DC Eric Gregory of Cohort I was sponsored by the Executive Office of the President’s and US Dept. of Education to attend a forum in DC held in the Eisenhower Building, which is a part of the White House. Eric served as a coalition consultant and was one of only two coalition representatives from across the country. Click here to read about this opportunity. Carmen Accepts a New Position Carmen Purpus of Cohort II accepted a new position as an Instructor at South Central Kentucky Community and Technical College. Congratulations to Carmen! Jackie Writes on Knowledgesharing COHORT XIII WILL START THIS FALL A total of 18 students have been accepted into the Educational Leadership Doctoral Program at WKU as members of newest cohort 13 which will start in fall 2014. Lee Shares her Germany Experience Lee Brown of Cohort X, who is a Director of the Paramedic program at WKU, visited Germany last June and did a ride along with a German EMS which included a rescue in the Black Forest. She also visited their emergency services, toured the hospital, and visited Metz Fire Aerial Factory. Jo Ann Received an Excellence in Nursing Education Award Jo Ann Wever of Cohort XI received an Excellence in Nursing Education Award at the Annual Meeting of the Kentucky League for Nursing in May 2014. The award is presented to the outstanding nurse educator who contributes to excellence and innovation in nursing education in the preparation of nursing workforce. Congratulation to Jo Ann!
